Post-Flight

The flight in the Mustangs had been amazing and Hal vowed throughout the flight that if he ever had the money he was getting himself one. But he had other things on his mind now.

He pulled into the parking lot of the first motel they came to, unable to wait the hour to drive home. He had wanted more than anything to bend Kyle over the wing of one of the Mustangs, but he was pretty sure the crew would have frowned on that.

“What are we doing here?” Kyle asked quite innocently, the slight twitch at the corner of his mouth showing Hal that he knew exactly why they were stopping here. Hal just wagged his eyebrows at him and got out of the car to go get them a room.

The room was small and about as far away from romantic you could get, but Hal wasn’t going to be picky.  He pulled Kyle into his arms as soon as the door closed and kissed him. “Thanks for the gift,” he whispered against Kyle’s lips, gazing into Kyle’s eyes. “I wish I had got you something better.”

“What did you get me?” Kyle asked, a big grin on his face as his hands slid under Hal’s jacket to pull him closer.

Hal shrugged. “A vacation. To New York. You had mentioned you missed it, so I figured we could go visit Radu and your art museum. And I got us a penthouse on Central Park.”

Kyle frowned. “You don’t sound very thrilled about going.”

“I wish it was something better. I mean, it can’t compare to a flight in a Mustang.” He sighed. “Maybe I should have done Paris instead.”

Kyle rolled his eyes, then pulled him into a tight embrace. “I love it! And I’d much rather go to New York. Especially with you.” He pulled back to look at Hal. “How did you get a Central Park penthouse?”

“It helps to have wealthy friends,” Hal said.

Kyle raised his eyebrows. “Bruce let you borrow his penthouse?”

Hal chuckled. “Alfred, actually.”

Kyle laughed and kissed Hal. Hal pushed him up against the wall, grinding against him as returned the kiss. Now, where were we …? He slid his hands down to open Kyle’s jeans, then pushed them over his hips. He glanced down as Kyle stepped out of the jeans and grinned when he saw the boxers Kyle was wearing, the red boxers Hal had given him last year for a Valentine’s Day gift with Remove Before Flight printed on them. “Appropriate.”

Kyle wriggled his hips. “Want to check the stick before we take off, Captain Jordan?”

The boxers are from last year's story, Happy Valentine's Day.
