Hal was amazed the members of the superhero community seemed unaffected by Kyle’s brief possession by Parallax. He didn’t receive the suspicion—not even from Bats—that Hal expected. Nothing like what Hal had gone through.
Of course, he’d spent a lot longer joined with Parallax, and had done a lot worse.
Not that it seemed to make any difference to Kyle. Hal was afraid that the experience would undo the confidence the kid had gained in his role of Green Lantern and drive him to wallow in guilt.
At least Kyle had someone who understood what he went through.
